Rachel – Dental Hygienist
Rachel graduated from MCG in Augusta in 1999 with her Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene. She also holds a BA in History/Political Science from the University of West GA. She greatly enjoys her job and her work environment. She can be seen working at the front desk or assisting the dentists but her true passion is caring for her dental hygiene patients. She has worked at the office since 2000 when she moved to Brunswick with her husband Hank. They have two wonderful identical twin boys. She enjoys attending First Baptist Church of Brunswick, scuba diving, traveling with friends and family and any outside activity.
Susan – Front Desk
Susan is in charge of scheduling as well as maintaining medical records and insurance. She is a graduate of Glynn Academy and received her B.A. degree in Organizational Communications from Valdosta State University. She is certified in CPR and trained in HIPAA/OSHA. In her spare time she enjoys cooking, traveling, boating and spending time with family and friends. She is married to her husband, Erik, and they have two children, Kelsey and Drew.

Brandi – Dental Hygienist
Brandi is from Grayson, Georgia and moved to SSI in January 2012 with an Associate of Science degree in Dental Hygiene. She has completed training in CPR, HIPAA/OSHA and is also a Certified Dental Assistant. She strives to provide high quality care to her patients. She enjoys her job and is dedicated to helping patients understand how to achieve optimal dental health. Brandi is married to Bryan and they have an adorable daughter, Bailey.
Paula – Dental Assistant
We are fortunate to have Paula as Dr. William's dental assistant. Paula is a graduate of Glynn Academy High School (class of 1983). She was raised on SSI and resides in Glynn County. Paula's passion for dentistry began in 1994 when she began assisting. She has expanded her duties to include but not limited to radiology, CPR, HIPAA/OSHA and has great expertise in the cosmetology side of dentistry. She is happily married to Pat and has two beautiful and smart daughters. Paula enjoys gardening, crafting and spending time with her family.
Kim – Dental Hygienist
Kim has worked for Yeargan Dental since 1986. She is a graduate of Glynn Academy. In 1983, she earned her Associate's degree in Dental Hygiene from the Medical College of Georgia. She is certified in CPR and sedation first aid, and is also trained in HIPAA/OSHA, implant, periodontal and orthodontic treatments. Because she has been with us for so long, she has a wonderful rapport with her patients and looks forward to seeing them at their regular visits. She has a daughter, MacKenzie who also graduated from Glynn Academy and is now furthering her education.
Sara – Dental Hygienist
Sara graduated with her A.S. Degree in Dental Hygiene from Armstrong Atlantic State University, class of 2010. In 2003-2005, she attended Middle Georgia College. She was born and raised in Jesup, Georgia. She started in the dental field in 2005 under William L. Whatley on SSI as his dental assistant. There she gained a passion for dentistry and decided to get her hygiene license. She is certified in CPR and OSHA/HIPAA. She enjoys every patient she sees. She is married to Rex and they have 3 beautiful girls. They enjoy vacations at the beach, coaching their girls in sports and enjoying time with friends.
Caity - Dental Assistant
Caity has been a dental assistant since 2013. She became certified with Expanded Functions in 2014. Caity is CPR, OSHA/HIPPA, and Conscious Sedation Certified. She enjoys travelling, spending time with her family and her dog, Sadie. Caity enjoys discovering local music artists and attending other community events. Caity enjoys meeting new patients and helping alleviate any fears they may have during their dental appointment. She was born and raised in Brunswick and attended Brunswick High.
Laurie – Dental Hygienist
Laurie is our newest team member and we are lucky to have her as a hygienist at Yeargan Dental! She graduated from hygiene school in 1992 and I loves her career as a hygienist. Laurie is passionate about educating our patients on oral health and providing them with exceptional care. She is married to her husband, Bart, and they have two girls, Nicole and Mary Elizabeth. In her spare time, she enjoys trips to the river and spending time with her family.
